The cost of a therapy session is $125 per session. I understand that therapy can be an investment, and I aim to make it as accessible as possible. If affordability is a concern, please feel free to reach out to discuss sliding scale options or other payment arrangements.
-
Currently, I do not accept insurance for therapy sessions. However, I offer flexible payment options and can provide you with a receipt that you may submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. If you have any questions about my fees or payment options, please feel free to ask.
I’m considered “out-of-network” with insurance providers. Here's how it works:
You pay the session fee directly at the time of service.
I’ll send you a monthly superbill with a diagnosis code and all of the information needed by your insurance.
You’ll submit that with any other necessary paperwork to your insurance.
It can vary how long it takes for you to receive reimbursement and what percentage they reimburse you. It is important to call and ask them these questions, so you know what to expect.
Then, you should receive reimbursement from them by mail.
How to Find Out Your Out-of-Network Benefits:
Call the customer service phone number on your insurance card's back.
Ask about your out-of-network benefits for an "In-Office Outpatient Psychotherapy Appointment" with CPT Code 90837.
Find out how much you will be reimbursed per session.
Inquire if any additional paperwork is needed for reimbursement.

In our sessions, you can share any challenges you’re facing, and I’ll listen and help you understand your feelings better. Together, we’ll work on finding ways to cope with your problems and make positive changes in your life. It’s a safe space where you can express yourself without judgment and gain new insights into your experiences.

At this time, I do not offer online sessions. In-person therapy fosters a deeper personal connection through direct, face-to-face contact. I believe this setting makes it easier for you to share your thoughts and feelings openly, creating a supportive environment that will enhance your healing journey.
In the case of weather, travel, or sickness, virtual sessions are available.

During your first therapy appointment, I will ask you your reasons for seeking therapy and any specific issues you’d like to address. We’ll discuss your background, experiences, and goals for therapy, which helps me to understand you better. The first session is also a time for you to ask questions about my approach to therapy and what you can expect in future sessions. Overall, the focus will be on building a comfortable rapport and setting the groundwork for your therapeutic journey.

The length of therapy can vary greatly depending on your individual needs and goals. Some people find that a few sessions are enough to address specific issues, while others may benefit from longer-term therapy to work through deeper concerns. Together, we’ll regularly assess your progress and adjust the frequency and length of our sessions to best support your journey.

I understand that life can be unpredictable, and sometimes you may need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. I ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your session. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will incur a cancellation fee (the full cost of the session). This policy helps us ensure that I can offer appointment times to other clients who may need them. If you have any questions or concerns about this policy, please feel free to reach out.
